Fall Winter 2010-2011

For his third collection, Barnabé Hardy continues his work around the idea of a “protective shell” for the urban man with 12 leather jackets. Fur plays a key role in this elegant menagerie.

Shearling is worn wool side in for the biker jacket, or facing outside for a teddy bear-style jacket.

The teddy jacket is also available in pony-skin with bright, intense colours (blue/green/red), but also in more natural shades.

This season’s “classic” jacket in dipped lamb (chocolate/khaki/black/navy) features three different removable collars in mink, fox and raccoon. Shaved mink is also used for the first time by Barnabé Hardy with a luxurious military parka created with the support and collaboration of KOPENHAGEN FUR.

Another innovation for this third collection, Autumn Winter 2010-2011:  Knitwear and bags join the leather range.

The motifs of sweaters in intarsia and jacquard mirror those of the “origami/patchwork” jacket, this season presented in bright coloured leather reminiscent of Japanese mangas.

The ribbed navy sweaters replicate the detailing of the biker jacket with its military epaulettes.

The bags are also an interpretation of the jackets, manufactured in the same leathers (dipped lamb and shearling) with the same details and finishing touches (inside pockets, padded lining and leather-covered studs).

The season’s highlight is a disco-ball jacket in black dipped leather entirely embroidered with matching sequins. It is limited to ten copies.
